Cook over low heat, cool and break apart:
1/3 cup sliced almonds
2 Tablespoons sugar
Pour dressing over and toss just before serving:
1 bunch spinach
½ head lettuce
2 small stalks celery diced
2 green onions with tops diced
11 oz can mandarin oranges, drained
Dressing:
1/3 cup vegetable oil
3 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons cider vinegar
1 tablespoon parsley
½ teaspoon salt
Pepper
Shake and refrigerate.
