7/24/2004 I finally have my Internet up after running in my new house (I moved from Clive to Waukee) so I should be able to start updating this web site again. Updated Meetings & Events to promote our next meeting.

6/8/2004 Updated the copyright notice. Updated e-mail references to our new e-mail address. Made a couple of minor updates to Restaurants.

6/4/2004 Moved into our new site at www.gfiowa.us. New search tool is banner free, on of the benefits of our new hosting service.

11/27/2003 Added Indianola's Hometown Health Foods to Stores. Added a link to a GF article on the Links page. Removed new recipe markers (*) in anticipation of adding the November meeting recipes.

05/12/2003 Were you beginning to wonder if I was ever going to update the web site again? I'm back. I'm sorry I missed everyone at the Easter Egg hunt. I heard it was great fun. Tonight I updated Meetings & Events and GF Commercial Product List. If anyone has an electronic copy of the recipes from the last meeting, please send them to me so I can add them to the site. Thanks! We have had 3354 web hits since 4/12/2002. Maybe if I updated more often we would have more hits. :-)

02/17/2003 After many computer problems, I am back on line. I updated Meetings & Events and added a link to Dannon on the Links page. 2895 visits since 4/12/2002.

12/18/2002 Added CHOCOLATE BROWNIES and SUGAR COOKIES from DiAnn Neumayer. I re-indexed the search engine. This site now contains 437 documents. 10/14/2002 Added MediaCom's Address Book feature to allow you to sign up for e-mail updates when I make changes to the web site. Updated Meetings & Events. Passed 1918 hits on the main page.

08/18/2002 In an attempt to reduce load times, I split the old long Recipes page into multiple pages, one for each category. Started adding the recipes from last Saturday's meeting. Added Mondo's of West Des Moines to Restaurants.

08/14/2002 Updated Meetings & Events for the pot luck this Saturday. Added information about GF "Très Bon Cheesecakes" to the bottom of Stores. Re-indexed the site for the search engine. This site now contains 344 documents. A total number of 35746 words were found and indexed by the siteLevel search engine. We are up to 1299 hits.

07/08/2002 Added a review of the PLEASANT LAKE BED & BREAKFAST to the Restaurants page. We broke 1000 hits last week while I was on vacation.

06/16/2002 A couple of people have had problems reading Lindsay's GF Commercial Product List. I changed the format from compressed Word to HTML. The down side is the file is now 10 times larger.

06/15/2002 Changed the name of the Upcoming Events page to Meetings & Events. Someone asked when the next "meeting" was, which is described on the "events" page. I hope the new title will make the information easier to find. 787 hits since 4/12/2002.

06/10/2002 Updated Hy-Vee Gluten Free List. Hy-Vee (Missy) notified us that the Hy-Vee Crisp Rice Bars and the Hy-Vee Chocolate Chip Crisp Rice Bars contain Malt Syrup. The supplier indicated that it is "a pretty insignificant amount" of malt. Thank you Missy for following up on this for us!

06/05/2002 Added 19 new Miscellaneous. Site contains 340 documents. A total number of 33313 words were found and indexed by the siteLevel search engine.

06/03/2002 610 site hits since 4/12/2002. I just realized that I never added the 19 recipes from the April newsletter to the site. Check back in a few days and I should have them up.

03/11/2002 In the interest of web space, bandwidth, download times, and site maintenance, I reverted the Commercial Product List back to Lindsay's original Excel format and compressed it.

03/10/2002 Added recipes from the February potluck dinner. Added Lindsay's large Commercial Product List and Manufacturer Contacts documents (I may have to change them to a zip file later). Site contains 260 documents. A total number of 29220 words were found and indexed.

03/07/2002 Moved location of search box. Updates to Links page. Mailto links now fill in subject line. MediaCom fixes "hit" counter.

03/06/2002 Added a local search engine via siteLevel, changed the site name, added meta search data, and submitted the site to several WWW search engines.
